If you have a two year contract with your service provider for your cell phone, then you are able to upgrade at the end of those two years.  Some plans will qualify for an upgrade sooner than two years, so check you contract for the exact time. Depending on what provider you have, you an log onto their website to find our what you qualify for and if there is a discount.

If you don’t qualify and you want a newer phone, you can purchase any phone you like with a no-commitment price.  Your plan is not set in stone and you can change it at any time throughout your contract time. Again, you can go online and see what options you have to choose from and change to a different plan.

You can do things like change the amount of minutes you have or change you plan completely. The agreement on your contract stays the same, as there is not need to extend the contract with changes like this. You can also add another line to your account as a family plan or a separate plan.  Mobile phone deals come in many forms, so ask a sales person in the store about all the details.
